Camp Caroline is a year-round Christian camp and retreat centre located in the eastern foothills of the Canadian Rockies.
As a ministry, we are committed to delivering unforgettable experiences year after year. Being one of Alberta’s premier camp facilities, we work hard to extend warm hospitality to every guest, no matter your age or stage. While our location, facilities, services, and staff are second to none, God is the one who enables us to provide real getaways with greater purpose.
The ministry of Camp Caroline exists to encourage first steps in a life-long journey with Jesus; next steps that follow him faithfully; and, servant-leadership that exemplifies his compassion and concern for others.
Something extraordinary happens when a person slips away from the regular rhythm and routine of their lives to visit Camp Caroline. While difficult to describe, it’s impossible to forget the difference even the shortest stay has on an individual as they discover the story of God’s amazing love.
Getting away does not produce transformational ministry. It does however have the potential to cultivate unforgettable moments. Moments created to encourage faith. Moments full of redemptive potential. And in these moments a person encounters God’s unforgettable presence and purpose for their life and relationships.
At Camp Caroline we are uniquely able to serve people by creating environments designed to encourage life-changing experiences. Through the ministry of hospitality, we strive to serve everyone with such excellence that their time at camp is free of any distractions or hassles, allowing them to focus on connecting with one another and with God.
We are convinced that Jesus is at the center of it all. Everything we strive to accomplish centers around Christ. We emphasize the life-changing story of His invitation to us through all the ministries of Camp Caroline.
Colossians 1:15-20, Acts 17:28, John 10:10, Galatians 4:4-7, Ephesians 2:10, Hebrews 12:2
We are convinced that God wrote the book on life. The Bible is God’s captured word to us and carries the full weight of His authority. Having created us He best knows how we should live our lives, which makes the Bible the source for our teaching.
2 Timothy 3:16, Hebrews 4:12, Psalm 119:105, Proverbs 3:5-6, Joshua 1:7-9
We are convinced that we are called to pray together. We want to cultivate a prayerful dependence on God. The ministry is not ours. We are but stewards for a season. Recognizing this reality, we rely on God in all that we do.
1 Thessalonians 5:17; Philippians 4:6; Colossians 4:2; Matthew 6:6-13, 25-33; 2 Chronicles 20:12
We are convinced that we are better together. Together we can experience the richness in life God intended. We have been created to serve together and support one another in all our spheres of influence.
Genesis 2:18, Ecclesiastes 4:12, Ephesians 4:1-3, 1 Thessalonians 2:8, 2 Corinthians 5:11-21
We are convinced that good leaders serve. As godly leaders mature, they discover better, more effective ways to impact the world surrounding them. They seek out opportunities to serve so we work with emerging and established leaders to help them grow as servant-leaders.
Mark 10:45, John 13:1-17, Luke 22:24-27, Philippians 2:5-8, Galatians 5:13-14
We are convinced that He’s given His best and it’s inspiring us to give nothing less. Having experienced God’s extravagant generosity and grace we cannot settle for the well-it’s good-enough-for-camp attitude. Instead we pursue excellence in every area of our ministry to honour Him through all our efforts and endeavors.
Ephesians 5:1-2, Colossians 3:23, Titus 2:7, Luke 12:48, Malachi 1:6-14, Proverbs 22:29
